Hi all I do is smirk.
This must be why they call me a smartass.
I’d rather smirk than fake a smile.
Anyway heeeeeey. ♥
9. Your favorite manager
Papa Joe!
And not only because he manages my boys.
Also this:

I’m such a derp ~
But Joe Maddon is amazing.
At the Rays Fanfest 2011 at Maddon’s Thanksmas Dinner.
My oldest sister would have come with us but she was sick that day.
Joe was walking around meeting and taking pictures with everyone.
My other sister called my oldest sister and asked Joe to talk to her.
He told her to drink a coke and relax and she would feel better.
Then she joked that he should be saying Pepsi because of ads.
Yeah, but Joe Maddon is my favorite because he’s perfect. ♥
My glasses almost match his don’t you think ADSBGDEVsfbfv.
Ron Washington is next on my list of wonderful managers. :)
Hi this is most of the people I love (and two I could certainly live without ~)
Look at baby me again!
I used to wear dresses when I was little.
That’s my oldest sister on the left ~

Alright I just felt like being goofy and this is the product ~
So we got the shirts. See? I love it. I love how they incorporated Kyle’s tattoo in it. Wearing the shirt rn, by the way.
What a game. It was so perfect.
We got to the Trop at 6:15, found our seats during Red Sox BP, and almost got hit a bunch of times. My friend Holly actually got hit in the shoulder within two minutes of sitting down. There were guys with gloves all around with us, and the kid who sat next to Holly’s mom promised he would save us if another one came over. That was cool. During the game we talked to him a little bit. He was cute, but he had to have been like 14.
We had a whole row of Red Sox fans in front of us, two rows down. There had to have been eight kids, five adults. Most of the little boys were adorable as hell. But they were a Red Sox family, so eh. Somewhere in the fifth or sixth inning, Youkilis was up to bat and three of the little boys took off their shirts and me, Holly, and the Security Kid (nickname for guy who was going to save us, btw) all were joking and laughing about what in the hell was wrong with them, and we decided this had to be illegal; watching little kids strip.
There was a whole row of people from the “Tampa Bay Seminoles Club” or something. Let me not even comment on my hatred for FSU.
There were people in all different MLB-related wardrobes, we saw a guy in an Astros jersey, guys in Damon Sox jerseys and Crawford Rays jerseys, Giants hats, a few Yankees fans. There were even two guys with “Chara” and “Bergeron” jerseys. As in, the Boston Bruins. During the game there were Red Sox and Rays fans talking shit to a Yankees fan, and he retorted to the Red Sox fans “When’s the last time you won a World Series?” and to the Rays fans “How many do you have? 27 is all I’m saying. You have 0.” And I gave him the death glare until he looked at me.
I was all excited when BJ hit that RBI, but of course sad when McDonald hit his homer. I want it on the record that tonight was a 4 home run game for the Red Sox. Bravo. Then, let’s talk about the big hit of the night. We were ten rows behind Benjamin’s grandy, and I was dying at this point. 5-1 game. We tagged on two more the next inning, none in the 4th or 5th. Two more in the sixth. Meanwhile the Sox hit another homer to make it 7-2 before DP was done. 7 K’s for David, let’s have a round of applause.
Then the bullpen, as always, let it slip and slip and I was getting pissed off by the time it got to the 8th inning, Cruz was in, our pitchers had allowed two more homers and an RBI, and it was at 9-6. We were at 9 K’s, one out in the 8th, and something like two Sox on base when we put in JP Howell. Was this a joke? Well, JP struck out Big Papi, we got our pizza 10 K, and Kyle Farnsworth was in the game to finish it up.
We went into the bottom of the eighth and I screamed out loud when Matt Joyce pinch hit for Kelly Shoppach. He didn’t do anything good, but he was there and I’m always happy to see him. The spectacular part in all this? In the top of the ninth there was a different catcher in the game. It said ‘Lobaton’ where it used to say ‘Shoppach’. I was having a fucking fit. WE CALLED UP A CATCHER! It makes sense because Jaso is injured, but I was so excited. I hope this guy proves himself. I’d feel terrible if we sent down Kelly, because even if Kelly’s one of my least favorite players, I can imagine the heartbreak of being sent down, because they stopped believing in me. However, it would be nice to see someone besides Kelly Shoppach behind homeplate, you catch my drift? I’ll hand it to Kelly, though, he’s done a lot better recently, and he even got two hits tonight.
At the top of the ninth, there were men on and two outs and everyone was on their feet. Kyle dragged it out and we stood up for longer than planned, but he finally finished it. 9-6 final.
At some point, when the score was still 7-2, Evan was up with two outs and the bases loaded, and I was all smiles, until I realized something. If Evan hit a grandy right then, how soon would everyone forget Ben? How soon would the announcers on SunSports and all the sports reporters mention that Evan is responsible for tonight’s win? How soon would I hear “lol Evan carries that team.” It actually made me frown. He didn’t hit a grandy, though, which still would have been nice, and Ben remained the hero of the game.
That’s my recollection of tonight’s game. It was so much fun. ♥
